Food Pantry of Alpine

The Food Pantry of Alpine is moving.  Beginning with our distribution on Saturday, February 6, we will be distributing from our new location: 108 S. Neville Haynes (formerly S. Lackey) in Alpine, where US Cable used to be located. Turn south off Hwy 90 on Neville Haynes right next to the Maverick Inn - the building is on your left before you cross the tracks. We will have one more distribution at the West Texas Food Bank building on January 9.  Many thanks to the West Texas Food Bank for sharing their space with us these past years!

Tickets are on sale now for the Big Bend Benefit Bash to be held at the Big Bend Brewing Company, May 30, from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. Enjoy music by Honky Tonk Hero Dale Watson and local favorites, the Doodlin' Hogwallops and The Resonators. All proceeds benefit the Food Pantry of Alpine, Grand Companions Humane Society, the Alpine Humane Society, and the Family Crisis Center of the Big Bend. Tickets are $25 in advance, $30 at the gate, and are available at the Alpine Chamber of Commerce and the Ft. Davis Chamber of Commerce. This event is made possible by Big Bend Leadership Class 2015.
